Sino-French Medical Cooperation Symposium Held in the Hospital

(Reporter Chen Jing) In the morning of October 23, the Sino-French Medical Cooperation Symposium jointly organized by Consulate General of France in Wuhan and ZNWU was held in #1 meeting room on floor 13 of the Clinic Department. The over 60 experts from health authorities, medical organizations and medical schools of both countries attended the meeting.

On the opening ceremony, the Mayor of Nancy Mr. Lauren Aina He reviewed the importance of Sino-French Medication Cooperation. Consul General of France in Wuhan Philippe Martinet thanked the efforts of both sides in the last two decades. He said that Wuhan University and ZNWU had played a pioneering role and hoped that the symposium would further promote Sino-French cooperation.

After the opening ceremony, the symposium with the theme of “new organization, new method and new training on China and France’s challenges of population aging and chronic non-infectious diseases” was formally kicked off.
